The gears just shifted…

You know the story. Tired of the 9-5. Wanting more time with your family. Wanting that slow down.

That is how we started. Realizing the daily grind was leaving a void in our lives, we decided it was time to shift gears. Or, really maybe those gears shifted on their own. Whatever it was, our world was about to be turned upside-down.

We dove right in and did it all. Gardening, raising animals, and free-ranging the kids— life became quite idyllic. We started learning about food preservation, then freeze-drying stepped into our lives. And, did it ever!

We began to freeze-dry any extras of what we grew or cooked. Our homestead life wouldn’t be the same. We loved it so much that we needed to share it with anyone who would listen. Welcome to our adventure into the crispy world!
